Meet Josey

I was born and raised In Carbondale, CO, and spent almost 6 years living in Manhattan, KS before moving to Marshalltown. I was a licensed real estate agent in Kansas, before moving to Iowa. Prior to real estate, I worked for several years as a dental assistant, and I owned my own business, training horses and coaching riders of all ages and competition levels. I truly love to help people in any way I can, and I am looking forward to helping as many people as possible with the biggest transaction of their lives!

Why I'm Different

Communication and transparency are essential to a great buying or selling experience. I am very happy to be able to provide these qualities to my clients. As a Realtor, I go above and beyond to make sure my clients are informed throughout every step of the transaction and to make sure that there are no surprises along the way. With my work ethic and dedication to my clients, I'm able to understand your needs and put in the work to make sure those needs are met. I am no stranger to long hours, and I make myself available to my clients at any time of the day or night to make the process as quick and easy as possible.

I Believe in Giving Back

I spent 10 years of my youth in 4H, showing livestock and horses. It taught me many life lessons and shaped my adulthood. I strongly believe in giving back to the youth in 4H in the same way that I had so many people give to me. I love to help 4H members with their livestock and horse projects and teach members about feeding, exercising, and showing their animals. Prior to moving to Iowa, I was also able to assist in an environmental education program to coordinate and help lead field trips for school children to visit the Tallgrass Prairie in Kansas.

In My Free Time

My husband and I love to spend time outside. We enjoy tending to our garden, golfing, fishing, camping, and spending time with our three dogs. We also love to take road trips to experience new things and remote places. On Sunday mornings, you can find us at the Mosaic Church in Marshalltown.
